Press Releases02/09/07 BRYN MAWR, Pa., February 9, 2007 The Board of Directors of Bryn Mawr Bank Corporation (NASDAQ: BMTC), announced the appointment of Matthew G. Waschull as Executive Vice President, with overall responsibility for Bryn Mawr Trust's $2.5 billion Wealth Management Division. According to Corporation Chairman Ted Peters, "We are delighted that Matt has agreed to join us. I am convinced that his solid financial background and his long record of significant achievement will be an invaluable resource in maintaining our preeminence among the Greater Philadelphia area banking and wealth management institutions." Kaplan & Associates, Inc. assisted The Bryn Mawr Trust Company with the search for the new Executive Vice President. Mr. Waschull has over 23 years experience in the wealth management industry, most recently as Managing Director at Wilmington Trust Company, where he had management responsibility for a $9 billion segment of their private wealth management business in Delaware. Mr. Waschull is a graduate of the American Bankers Association National Graduate Trust School, conducted at the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business. He also graduated magna cum laude from the College of Saint Rose, located in Albany, New York, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting. He has been granted the Certified Trust and Financial Advisor designation, and also holds Delaware life and health insurance licenses. He is also a former Chairman of the Delaware Bankers Association Trust Committee, and a member of the Philadelphia Estate Planning Council, the Estate Planning Council of Delaware and the Greenville Country Club in Greenville, Delaware. |
