SPiN Features Kaplan and Human Capital Leaders

The Singapore Philadelphia Innovation Network (SPiN) today hosted “How To Start Up (HTSU) 101”, a Philadelphia conference on entrepreneurship. This program featured a discussion organized and moderated by Alan J. Kaplan, President & CEO of Kaplan & Associates, Inc. The panel focused on “People First: Why executing your plan is all about hiring the right talent”, and featured panelists:

Singapore Philadelphia Innovation Network is an organization run by aspiring entrepreneurs from the National University of Singapore (NUS). Each year, select students from Singapore embark on a one-year NUS Overseas College program, working in high-tech startups in and around Philadelphia while also undertaking entrepreneurship courses at the University of Pennsylvania.

SPiN’s mission is to be an avenue for interaction between leaders from the entrepreneurially charged cultures of Philadelphia and Singapore. SPiN serves as a platform for students to augment their entrepreneurial acumen, and also facilitates interaction through a combination of bi-annual conferences and smaller scale seminars.
